220kV Switchyard of Trung Son Hydropower Project was formally energized at 2:52 AM on December 17, 2016.
The working teams of Trung Son 220kVSwitchyard, Nho Quan 500kV Switchyard and Hoa Binh 220 kV Switchyard have been actively coordinating and working with each other since the morning of December 16 to ensure the communication and differential protection relay system of Trung Son – Nho Quan and Trung Son–Hoa Binh lines connected and working properly.
All the works at Nho Quan 500kV Switchyard, Hoa Binh 220 kV Switchyard and Trung Son 220kV Switchyard were completed at 2:40 AM of December 17. Mr. Vu Huu Phuc – Director of the Company cum Chairman of the Pre-acceptance Test Council received the permission from the Northern Load Dispatch Centre (A1) to energize Trung Son 220kV Switchyard. The 212 circuit breakers were switched on to energize Trung Son 220kV Switchyard under the witness of Trung Son team, the engineers and workers of Hydrochina Corporation, Northern Electrical Testing Center No. 1; Power Transmission Company No.1; Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4, Hoa Binh Hydropower Company, An Khe-Kanak Hydropower Company (GENCO2).
“This achievement was due to the great works of many engineers and workers. It marks an important milestone toward the operation of Unit 1 of Trung Son Hydropower Plant”. Mr. Ngo Quoc Phuong – Deputy Manager in charge of Trung Son Hydropower Project Management Board (PMB) said.
