Relocation & resettlement

565 households that are directly affected by the project will have to resettle and relocate entirely from the project area. The project has developed four resettlement areas in Quan Hoa, Muong Lat districts in Thanh Hoa province and Van Ho district in Son La province with such infrastructure items as road, housing, works to supply water to individual house, grid electricity, schools, kindergarten, cultural houses and public health stations….Therefore, living conditions of households which relocate from project area will be considerably improved in the new living place.

Up to May 2016, all households that have to relocate had moved into resettlement areas and step by step been stabilizing their life with sufficient infrastructure facilities according to the project design, bringing much better and more favorable living conditions in comparison with the previous living places.
